About Canaan
Canaan is a dwelling place for a sustainable life. We are a boutique and gallery previously located at Katamama Hotel, Seminyak Bali. We have since moved to Jalan Drupadi, Seminyak as of September 2019. Our boutique and café on Jalan Drupadi is a partnership with Rou Coffee, a beans to cup Tokyo-inspired specialty coffee that serves both Coffee and Matcha. Canaan has been voted as one of ten best stores for shopping in Bali by luxury and lifestyle magazine Condé Nast Traveler twice in a row from 2017. We produced Indonesian-made crafts, home wares and natural dyed clothing and textiles by ways of collaborating and supporting the local artisans.
We believe in working together with other creatives and have facilitated various engagements in arts, photography and craft-based workshops. Canaan always strive to achieve a sustainable and ethical practice.
